What are the dates for Summerr Term 2023?

Starts w/c : 17th April

How big are the classes?
Normally, the classes have up to 15 children.
My child is not 5 yet but loves drawing. Can he join?
Even if they child loves drawing, their motor skills and concentration is not develop enough to fully take advantage of the class. Their results will be very different from the older children and they might get discouraged by this.
I'm afraid I can't make exceptions at this point.
Insurance doesn't cover under 5s either.

What days do you run classes?
We have classes on Thursdays and Saturdays
You can contact us for information on Private Lessons or school workshops.
What is the difference between drawing and illustration class?
The drawing class is more focused on drawing techniques, learning to see value, perspective, etc. Mainly working on still lifes or master copies.
It's more based on Academy Drawing teaching.
The Illustration class is more focused on story telling, character design, poses, colour theory, etc. Only one or two fully finished illustrations will be finished each term.
Can I pay per month?
No. Bookings are for full term only.
Can I stay in the class with my child?
No. The children will concentrate better without a parent/carer in the room.
I've sent a booking form. Now what?
We will contact you within a couple of days to confirm your place and send you the information on payment methods.
I didn't get a place. What can I do?
If you didn't get a place we'll put you on a waiting list and will contact you as soon as a place becomes available or we open another class.
Why are the prices different for the classes?
The Saturday classes are longer and the price reflects that extra time.
My child is not very artistic. Can he attend?
Of course, every child has different skill levels and they will progress throughout the course with our help.
Can we bring our own material?
We provide all the material needed for the class for Art, Studio and Drawing class and we prefer everyone to have the same. However due to Covid-19. You are welcome to bring your own materials. Please check with the teachers regarding the materials of each week.

They can bring a bottle of water.
Will there be any homework?
No homework will be assigned, but we encourage the children to continue drawing at home to improve their skills.
